Funeral Director in Charge James Godsey was born and raised in Dayton/Riverside, OH. He and his wife Bethany have a son, Zack, daughter, Kayla and a four-legged best friend, Remy. Together they enjoy hanging out with family and friends and attending festivals and concerts.
James became interested in the funeral profession in high school when his grandfather passed away. It took a long journey to get where he is today but he has such a passion to help others during difficult and trying times that he can’t think of doing anything else.
Funeral Director in Charge Lindsey Rathje grew up in Kettering and is a graduate of Fairmont High School. She has lived in the Miamisburg/Centerville area for 15 years, and has two sons, Cameron (19) and Jayce (9).
Lindsey has always had a passion for helping people and feels that guiding families through what is probably the toughest time in their lives is what she was made to do. Lindsey’s late mother, Terry, was her biggest cheerleader. She loves helping families create meaningful services to celebrate their loved ones.
Growing up in the Dayton area, she loves being able to help the families in her community, many of whom she’s had personal friendships with. She hopes it provides some comfort to see a familiar face. When not at work, Lindsey enjoys working out, going to sporting events and concerts, and, most importantly, spending time with her boys, family and friends.
