Zora Dermer

Zora E. Dermer, age 86 of Dayton, passed away May 26, 2012. She was born March 1, 1926 in Xenia to the late Alva and Miriam Brickel. In addition to her parents, Zora was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Dermer; and sister-in-law, Clara Hadden.

Zora is survived by her children: Carol (Jim) Jones, Linda (Robert) Hardy, Kenneth (Carlene) Dermer, Sr. and Debra (Larry) Schulte, Sr.; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 8 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park. Contributions may be made in Zora's name to The Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45420. Zora's family would like to thank the staff at The Hospice of Dayton for the care and support given to their mother and to them.
