Zelma Creech

Zelma M. Creech, age 88, passed away in Dayton, Ohio on March 22, 2015. She was born to the late Charles and Millie Mechlin on February 5, 1927 in Morgan Twp. Pike County, Ohio. Zelma graduated from Lucasville High School Class of 1944. She retired from EF McDonnald/Carlson Marketing Group in 1992 after a 38 year career in the Accounting Department. Zelma attended the former East Park Church of God in Dayton. She resided in Grand Court Dayton Ohio since 2007. She is survived by her son Randy Creech; numerous brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Zelma was preceded in death by her husband, James Creech; brothers Herbert Mechlin and John Mechlin Sr. Zelma and her son wish to acknowledge and thank Raymond and Ruby Creech, John and Katie Mechlin, and Missy and Dan Drago for their loving help, care, and assistance to her during the time of her illness. Visitation will be Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel from 10am-11am with a funeral service to follow at the funeral home at 11am. Burial will take place at Dayton Memorial Park immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her honor to Hospice of Dayton.
