Zella M. Napier, age 82 of Dayton, OH passed away peacefully on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born November 11, 1935 in Habersham, Tennessee to James and Mary (Martin) Marlow.
Zella retired from Protective Treatment Co. in Dayton where she worked for many years as Quality Control. She enjoyed walking her dog Corky, working with flowers and vacationing with family. Zella loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Zella is survived by her three sisters, Viola Bratcher, Reta (Jim) Clayborn and Mildred (Terry) Chinn; two brothers, J. L. (Cheryl) Marlow and Danny (Tina) Marlow; longtime friend, Ruie L. Spurlock; and other numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Ortha Curnutt.
A visitation will be held on June 9, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at the funeral home on June 9 at 3:00 pm. Burial will be on Monday, June 11th at 2:00 pm at Woodlawn Cemetery in LaFollette, TN.
