Zackery Patrick Flatt

Zackery Patrick "Zack" Flatt, age 39 of Dayton, was called home on Friday, October 29, 2021. He was born on March 4, 1982 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Gary and Peggy Flatt.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Jaye Flatt; maternal grandmother, Carolyn Gabbard; paternal grandmother Lillian Flatt; maternal grandfather, William Brown; and uncle, Richard "Buddy" Brown.
Zack is survived by his beloved sunshine and grace, his wife, Kasie Marilyn Flatt; two children, Mariah and Michael; three bonus children, Gabriel, Hunter Jo, and LileeAnn; dad, Gary Flatt; two sisters, Tracy Flatt and Glenda (Jon) Thurston; three aunts, Debbie (Drew) Wolford, Pamela "Sissy Jo" Brown and Penny (John) Beck; uncle Kenny (Lisa) Brown; mother-in-law, Staci (Tony) Winner; two sister-in-laws; two lifelong friends, Christopher Caudill and Eric Zurface; close cousin, Clifford Bergeron; cousin, Carlos (Shannon) Garcia; and beloved dog, Buzz. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He had a smile and a laugh that could light up any room. Zack was a dedicated employee of General Motors for 15 years. he was a loyal, hard-working, and optimistic man that could find the positive in any situation. He enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds and the Bengals while eating Joe's pizza. The most important thing to Zack was his wife and his five children. He is well loved and will be deeply missed by all those who knew and did not know him.
The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" and fist pump to his care team at Kettering Medical Center CCU for the care and compassion they provided during such a difficult time.
The family has requested that guests wear Cincinnati Red's attire in his honor!
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home-South Chapel located at 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439. Funeral Service will be officiated by Pastor Peter Lane following the visitation at 6:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his children: c/o Kasie Flatt to any Wright Patt Credit Union branch.
