Younita Lopez Hall was born on June 11, 1954 in Florence, Alabama to the late Alex Seay Jr. and Lorraine Williams-Seay. She passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at the Widow's Home, Dayton, Ohio.
Younita grew up in Besmer, Alabama and graduated from Bradshaw High School. As a young adult she relocated to Detroit, Michigan and attended Ross Medical School of Nursing. Younita worked in the nursing field for many years, she enjoyed caring for others. She started her family and was blessed with one son, Aaron Hall. She also opened her home to Chanelle and Brandon Davis and raised them as her own.
She relocated to Dayton, Ohio in 2006 to be closer to her family. She volunteered to distribute lunch to children during the summer months, while residing in the Sunshine apartments. Younita was a loving, caring and strong woman of God. Her faith and her love of God was enhanced and nurtured by her church family. Their love and encouragement kept her going. She was a member of Apostolic Faith Church, Trotwood, Ohio.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Carl Williams; two sisters, Rosetta Rhone and Delois Davis.
She leaves to cherish her memories, son Aaron Seay (Carla), special nieces Gwendolyn Keyeria and Chanelle Davis and special nephew Brandon Davis, sister-in-law Rose Williams, best sister-friend Mamie MacTee, cousin Patricia Hardy and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will take place from 3:00pm to 4:00pm on Friday, September 27, 2024 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, in Dayton, Ohio.
