Wynona Oliver

Oliver, Wynona Marie, age 68 of Dayton, passed away on Tuesday October 18, 2011. She was born on November 20, 1942 to the late Solomon and Kathryn Croom in Hamilton, OH. In addition to her parents, Wynona is preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Oliver, Jr.; son, Larry Chambers; 3 brothers, Paul, Solomon Jr., and Chris Croom; and sister JoAnne Croom.

Wynona is survived by her 2 children, Davonna and Duane Chambers; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 3 siblings, Slyvia Whitt, Michael Croom and Donna Liggins (Glover); 2 sister-in-laws, Portia Hudson of Hamilton, OH and Gaye Croom; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and good friends.

A funeral service will be held on Monday October 24, 2011 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior from 10:00-11:00 am. Reverend Michele Gullette to officiate services. Burial to follow at Dayton National Cemetery.
