Wylie W. Myers, Jr.

MYERS Jr., Wylie W. "Bud", age 87, of New Carlisle, OH, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2011. He was born November 11, 1924 in Tazewell, Virginia to the late Wylie W. and Lena Mae (Thompson) Myers.

Bud was a Marine veteran of the Korean Conflict, was a member of Medway Baptist Church, retired from General Motors after 33 years and was a proud member of the John Birch Society where he was a past chapter leader.

He is survived by his children, Wylie "Butch" W. Myers, III and Maureena Myers; one sister, Fan Vance; five sisters-in-law, Hula Easter, Bonnie Estes, Cleva (Jim) Brown, Vivian (Roy) Reed and Jessie Ann Estes; one brother-in-law, Crockett Lowe; numerous nieces and nephews.

Bud was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, whom he married in New York City, Nellie J. Myers; two sisters, Dolly Lowe and Kallie Schaulver; one brother, William "Bill" Myers; four brothers-in-law, Harry K. Mims, James C. Easter, Fred Smith and Jim Vance; one nephew, Jason Brown.
