Winona E. Jones

JONES, Winona E. "Winnie", age 69, Beavercreek, went to be with the Lord on April 26, 2007. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. A loving & caring wife of 50 years. She was a very loving and understanding mother of four, who was always there. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo "Al" Jones; her parents, George A. and Pearl M. (Tinch) Evans; one sister, Ruth; one brother, Ray. She is survived by her children, Greg (Cheri) Jones, Mark Jones, M.D., Julie (Brady) Schwyhart, and Sheri Jones; 9 grandchildren, Dane (Kathy), Rakesh, Matthew, Lyndsey, Ashley, Rachel, Miranda, Nicholas, and Michaela; 4 great-grandchildren, Alexis, MaKenna, Kaitlyn, and Keira; two sisters, Edith and Donna; one brother, Floyd; many nieces and nephews. She was a member of University Baptist Church and was involved with many organizations as a volunteer throughout her life. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 29, 2007 from 1-3 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 30, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at University Baptist Church at 2223 Hanes Rd. in Beavercreek with Pastor Charlie Russell officiating. Interment will follow in Mt.
