Winnie B. Whitaker, 84 a resident of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away June 11, 2014. She was born March 13, 1930 in Busy, Kentucky. Winnie spent her life caring for others; first as a registered nurse and continued after retirement as a mom, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Whitaker, her parents, Bradley Begley and Myrtle Wooten Begley, brothers, Lance, Prentice, Joel, Granville, Bert, and Dale; and sisters, Miranda and June.
Winnie is survived by her daughter, Lisa and son-in-law, Richard Durham; grandchildren, Robert and Jessica; and her beloved great grandson, Cooper. She is also survived by her sister, Hettie Loriot along with countless extended family and friends. The family would like to express special appreciation to Tobi Johnson who provided loving care to Winnie over the last few years.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Visitation will be from 9:00 am until time of service at the Funeral Home.
