WELLS, Mr. Winfred Jr. (Toby), age 51, lifelong resident of Dayton, passed away peacefully Monday, April 17, 2006. A graduate of Dunbar High School, Class of 1973. He was a Veteran of the United States Army as a Specialist in Communications. Toby was a kind and gentle soul, a friend to everyone he met, an avid reader with a great love of music. Preceded in death by his father, Winfred Wells Sr., sister, Renee Wells, grandmother, Marion Ingram. He leaves to cherish his loving memory, mother, Patricia Wells, daughter, Corinne Janta Wells of Texas, sisters, Pam McElrath, Kim (Kerry) Smith, Audrey Wells, Sherry (Steve) Denelak, Angie (Michael) Luckett, Michelle (Orenzo) Daniels of Texas, Carmen Turner, niece, Emily Wells, granddaughter, Cheyenne Gaines of Texas. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Special Aunt Julia Ingram. Services will be held at 11am Friday, April 21, 2006 at Collegiate Heights Church of Christ, 4310 Germantown Pk., Bro. Cleavon Matthews officiating, Interment Dayton National Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the members of Collegiate Heights Church of Christ for their love, prayers and acts of kindness and also Fred Graggette and Joni Isizfil, of Hospice of Dayton for all their unselfish care and companionship.
