Winfred E. Caldwell
CALDWELL, Winfred E. age 73 of Dayton, was born on August 8, 1937 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to the late Lucile Jennings and Charlie Caldwell. He departed this life on Friday, October 29, 2010.
He moved to Dayton in 2003, where he was a member of Greater Damascus Baptist Church. Winfred served our country in the US Army.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Barbara Ball; sisters Bertha, Verdell, Fannie Mae and Susie May; brothers Lorenza, John Henry, Willie Lee, Bill Andrew, Andrew Jackson and Charlie Will.
Who lives to cherish his memory, his son Deon and wife Pam Dinkins: 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters Elouise Harrison and Evelyn Tulloch, both of Dayton, Bernice and husband Bobby Welch of Lineville, AL; brother Rev. Charles and wife Olivia Caldwell of Lineville, AL; 4 close friends Robin, Lovely, Lucile, Jackie and Ms. Thelma; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at United Missionary Baptist Church 900 Lexington Ave., Dayton, with Rev. Timothy Caldwell officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service. Interment at the Dayton National Cemetery.
