Wilma Joyce Walker, 83, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. Wilma was born October 19 , 1933 in Lexington, KY to Katherine (Smith) Selover. She married James E. Walker on August 11, 1951 in Dayton, OH and they were married 51 years.
Wilma is survived by her sons, Mike (Carole) Walker and Bob Walker; a daughter Sherry Walker; nine grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; two sisters Merva (Don) Callicoat and Sandy Stevens; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband James.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio with Pastor Pat Murray officiating. Visitation will be held Monday evening, March 13, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Polk Grove Cemetery, Dayton, OH.
