Wilma Irene McFarland, age 77, of Kettering passed away at home peacefully on July 31, 2023. She was born in Dayton on July 24, 1946 to the late John and Gertrude Benner. In addition to her parents, Wilma is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth and stepchildren, Tammy McFarland and Jody McFarland.
Wilma is survived by her loving daughters, Tammy Gibbs, Cindy (Michael) Lynch; siblings, Warren Benner, Linda (Ralph) Belvo; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members and friends.
Wilma was strong in her faith and had many brothers and sisters in Christ. She spent time with her prayer groups and enjoyed learning and sharing God's word. She was a kind and thoughtful woman, who often made people smile with her special handmade cards. These special cards will forever be a reminder of her love. Wilma found great joy spending time on her front porch gazing at her beautiful flowers and greeting everyone that passed by. She created a family bond that will hold tight forever. Wilma will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held by family at a later date.
