Wilma S. Mccowan
January 21, 1945 — October 25, 2020
Wilma S. McCowan, age 75, of New Carlisle, passed away on October 25, 2020, at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Stanton, Kentucky, on January 21, 1945, the daughter of the late Ovie and Icel Reed.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Wilma is survived by her beloved husband, Delmar McCowan; children, Melanie Mills and Allen D. McCowan; grandchildren, Heather Piseno, Jeff Jones, Christopher Mills and Jimmy D. McCowan; great-grandchildren, Brooklynn Piseno, Brandon Woods and Rayleigh Mills; brother, John (Janet) Reed; and many other loving family and friends.
She was a member of Northridge Freewill Baptist Church for many years. Wilma adored spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Donations may be made in her honor to Northridge Freewill Baptist Church, 4800 Payne Ave., Dayton, OH 45414.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm- 1:00 pm, on Friday, October 30, 2020, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, where Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 pm, with Rev. Tim Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
