Hoskins, Wilma B., age 75, of Dayton passed away January 10, 2017 in Centerville, OH.
She was born July 16, 1941 in Dickenson County, VA the daughter of Carter and Frances (Woods) Powers.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Goldie Stapleton of Huber Heights, OH; Naioma Newman of Mt. Airy, NC and Edna May of Troy, OH; and brother Jerry Powers of Columbia, SC.
Wilma was a gifted musician with a beautiful voice.
She is survived by her loving husband Charles; son Jeff Lehart; daughter Sonia Buffenbarger; sisters: Brenda Knuckles of New Carlisle, OH; Georgia Kelly of Beavercreek, OH; Mary Maynard of Springfield, OH; Shelby Granger of Yuba City, CA; brothers: Maynard Powers of Jamestown, OH and Richard Powers of Beavercreek, OH; 3 granddaughters; one grandson; and one great grandson.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 12:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel. Friends may call from 10 am-12 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial in Dayton National Cemetery.
