Wilma "Jean" Burnside, age 92, of Moraine, passed away July 9, 2022.
The youngest of 13 children, Jean was born August 24, 1929 in Lake City, TN to the late Thomas Claude and Carrie (Shumate) Towe. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Burnside, her daughter Gail Burnside and her son Keith Burnside.
Jean is survived by her daughter Nancy Burnside Poffenberger; her son Bruce Burnside; 5 grandchildren Leslie Pobst, Brian Pobst, Jeremy Pobst, Dustin Burnside and Brandon Burnside; 18 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jean was very kind and always welcomed others with open arms. She will be remembered for living life of integrity and inspiration.
She loved to play cards, bingo and dominos, but most of all she loved visiting with her grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
