Willis Dewey Whitaker, 88, of Beavercreek, OH passed away peacefully on Thursday February 2, 2012.
He was a master electrician and owned Whitaker Electric for 40 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Pearlie and Luther Whitaker ; step-mother, Ether Whitaker; son, Michael Whitaker; brothers, JC (Francis) Whitaker, LD (Jeanette) Whittaker, Herman (Mary) Whitaker, and Bob (Donna) Whitaker.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dorothy (nee: Semler) Whitaker; son, Richard Whitaker; daughter, Melissa (Mike) Tomlin; sister, Reba Whitaker of Sparta, TN; grandchildren, Christopher (Lisa) Whitaker, Anthony Whitaker and Kristin Tomlin; great grandchild, Cannon Whitaker and many other family members and friends.
Visitation is Monday February 6, 2012 from 6pm to 8pm with funeral service on Tuesday February 7, 2012 starting at 2pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home (Beavercreek Chapel), Beavercreek, OH.
Burial will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens.
