Willis Ratliff

Willis Ratliff, age 84, of Miamisburg passed away surrounded by his family on September 17, 2024. He was born in Paintsville, Kentucky on October 17, 1939 to the late Cecil and Bernice Ratliff. In addition to his parents, Willis is preceded in death by brothers, Terry Ratliff and Greg Ratliff. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Barbara; children, Jay (Sherry) Ratliff, Sandy (Angie Warren) Ratliff; an abundance of grandchildren and great-grandchildren and siblings, Della Grooms, Laura Sizemore, Alvin Ratliff and Cheryl (Wayne) Keaton; along with many other family and friends.

Willis was best known for his love of country, his love and creativity of buildings (some of which still contain his fingerprints), and his love of sports, especially his beloved Cincinnati Reds. He passed this passion down to his wife and children, who continue to support his Reds today. Now Willis and his father Cecil can catch all the games from the best seats possible.
