Willis E. Current

Willis Edwin "Ed" Current., age 75 of Beavercreek, died at his home, Wednesday, April 11, 2018 surrounded by his family.

Ed is survived by his wife Mary; son, Michael "Zack" (Sarah); granddaughter, Brenna; step-granddaughter, Lillian; brother, Carl (Donna); and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Imogene and Willis Current, Sr.

Ed retired from General Motors after many years of loyal service. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time in nature. Ed faithfully and honorably served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a caring, compassionate, and loving, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Ed will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Ed's Life will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Newcomer - Beavercreek Chapel at 6pm. The family will greet friends and loved ones for one hour prior (5pm - 6pm).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ed's memory to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
