Willieta Faber

Willieta Joan Faber "Willie", age 84 Riverside, Ohio, passed away Monday, December 21, 2020 at Stonespring of Vandalia. She was born December 1, 1936 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Willie and Alma Childress.

In addition to her parents, Willie was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Faber; son, Thomas Jacob Faber; sister-in-law Carol Childress; and grandson-in-law, Michael Penrod.

Willie was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She instilled the importance of love to her family and gave the love as only a grandmother can. She had the biggest, unconditionally loving heart and accepted people for who they were without judgment.

Willie worked at Lutheran Social Services for many years before going to work in Civil Service at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. She was a God-fearing woman and a long-time member of the Brantwood Baptist Church.

Willie will be missed by her loving children, Laura Mulford, Alma Green, Sandra Maye and Joy Randall; grandchildren, John Mulford, LeslieLynn Maye, Kristen Faber, Stacee (Shane) Keaton, William Jarvis (Tiffany), Stephanie (Mike) Wooten, Joani (Shawn) Dakin, Valerie Sebastian and Leroy "LJ" Maye (Brittany); great grandchildren, Shelby, Dakota, Dalton, Daphne, Christopher, Damon, Xander, Michael, Jacob, Joshua, Jamie, Andrew, Ayden, Jarrett, Deven, Shyanne, Dylan, Savannah, Faith, Shawn, Elijah, Noah, Brooke, Jonah, Sophia, Joey and Jaise; brother, James H. Childress; a niece, a nephews; a host of cousins, friends and other family members; multiple life-long friends including Duane Fornshell and Patt Rairden.

Family will receive friends Sunday, December 27, 2020 from 2 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face masks be worn in all public places.
