Willie Dolph Wright age 101 of Riverside, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024. Born October 28, 1922 in Jackson County, Tennessee to Thomas Dewitt and Maggie Lovell (Denson) Wright.
Dolph joined the Untied States Army in February 1941, serving as Military Police in European Theater and town patrol in continental United States. After the war, Dolph moved his family to Dayton, Ohio and retired from Frigidaire after 30 years.
After the loss of his mother at an young age, Dolph was always about family. He loved to have family and friends stop by for a visit. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 71 years, Emma Kathleen (Bean) Wright; daughter, Sharron Wright; son-in-law, Tom Graham; grandson, Vincent Wright; brothers, Odell, Ray, Roy and Roger; sisters, Opal Hicks, Olene Rhoden and Geneva Bowman; brothers-in-law, Carl Bean, JLee Bean, Herman Bean, Domer Hicks, and Vern Rhoden; sisters-in-law, Pearl Wright, June Wright, Josephine Wright, Katie Bean and Becky Bean.
He is survived by his children, Brenda Graham, Carol Wright, Beverly (Dave) Moffatt and Gregory (Ginetta) Wright; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; sister, Jean (Jim) Reeves; brother-in-law, Bob Bowman; sister-in-law, Daisy Wright and numerous special nieces and nephews.
