Willie Partin

Willie Partin, age 91, of Beavercreek, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Dayton V.A. Medical Center. He was born November 2, 1924 in Pearl, Kentucky.
Willie served our county and protected our freedom in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a hero to his granddaughter, Sara, who loved him dearly. Willie will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Polly Partin; wife, Myrtle Partin; daughter, Koty Jean and 9 brothers and sisters.
Willie is survived by his granddaughter, Sara J. (Brandon) Pittman; two great-grandchildren, BreAnne Whittaker and Daniel Hobbs; three sister-in-laws, Esther Head,Maggie Loder and Dorothy Hicks; nephew, Andy Lee Partin and special niece Diane. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the funeral at 10:00 am on Monday, January 18, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chape, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton or Dayton VA Hospital.
