Willie Mae Chambers-Penney, age 79 of Cincinnati, OH was born in Lexington, KY to the late Albert Scott, Sr. and Beatrice Kendricks-Waide. She departed this life on August 11, 2013 at Mary Scott Nursing Home in Dayton, OH.
She was educated in the public schools in Richmond, KY, where she attended and graduated from Richmond High School. After her schooling she dedicated herself to caring for her children and family and serving her Lord, Jesus Christ.
Willie Mae and Raymond Chambers were married August 8, 1952. They started their lives together in Cincinnati, OH; where they raised their 5 children.
Willie Mae was a kind and loving person who was loved and cherished by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, Willie Mae was preceded in death by her husbands, Raymond Chambers, Sr. and James Penney; four brothers, Thomas Waide, Raymond Waide, Richard Waide, and Albert Scott, Jr.; and sister, Betty Waide-Covington.
She leaves to cherish her memory, 5 loving and devoted children; daughter, Wanda Marie Chambers-Dean; sons, Raymond Chambers, Jr., Wilbur Owen Chambers, Rodney Chambers, and Timothy (Kelly) Chambers; 6 grandchildren, Marie Chambers (Richmond, KY), Robert L Dean (Dayton, OH), Jermaine Chambers (Cincinnati, OH), Rania Chambers (Cincinnati, OH), Christopher Chambers (Cincinnati, OH), and Bria Chambers (Dayton, OH); I great-granddaughter, Kierra Foster (Dayton); 2 great-great-grandchildren, Ka'Ron Charles Freeman (Dayton) and Keyonne Lamont Foster (Dayton); 2 devoted sisters, Sarah (Robert) Burnside (Lexington, KY) and Beatrice (Lee) Burton (Lexington, KY); sister in law, Dorothy
Waide; 2 special friends, Monnie Miller (Cincinnati) and Adlean Jones (Cincinnati); and a host of close relatives and friends.
