Willie F. Long

LONG, Willie F., age 76, of Beavercreek, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 30, 2009. He was born October 25, 1932 in Douglasville, GA. Willie served with the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a great athlete and over the years he participated in many athletic clubs. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Long, mother, Pearl Stafford, and his wife of many years, Mary Long. He is survived by his children, Floyd Long of New Jersey, Terri Long of Columbus; grandchildren, Floyd Jr., Anthony Mobley, Andre Mobley, Charles Zeigler, Christopher Long, Paisley Daniel, Kalyn Daniel, Damian Long and great-grandchild, Tyla Spotts-Long; two dear friends, Georgia Fink and Tyron Corbett; many other relative and friends. His love, guidance, and support will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel with visitation from 2:00-3:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held Monday, July 6, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio.
