CONLEY, Willie "Bill", age 90, of Beavercreek, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 26, 2012, unexpectedly in his home. Willie was born in Magoffin County, KY in 1921. He retired from the Chrysler Corporation in 1984. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church, Beavercreek and a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II, as well as a member of the Masonic Lodge #769 F&AM in Salyersville, KY.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Pauline Adams Conley; son, Glenn Conley; parents, Tom and Flora Borders Conley; 5 sisters, Ora Hazel, Alpha, Bethel, Mattie, and Beatrice; 5 brothers, Hargie, Hoy, Delancie "Bear", Leycester, and Troy. He is survived by his son, Gregory Alan; 2 granddaughters, Amber and Trisha; daughter-in-law, Sandy Conley, of Xenia; grandson, Glenn and wife, Julie; 3 great grandkids, Ruth, Sean, and Timothy, of Beavercreek; sister, Erma Jean Patrick, of Clyd, OH; 3 brothers, Oliver "Dick", of Oil Springs, KY, Joe Kenneth, of Falcon, KY, and Adam, of Beavercreek, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Monday, October 1, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. Pastor Bill Keen officiating. Interment will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens, Xenia, OH. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3:00 – 5:00 pm on Sunday, September 30, 2012. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Victory Baptist Church, Beavercreek.
