Willie Charles "Top" Easterling, age 60 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013 at The Hospice of Dayton. He was born July 19, 1953 in Dayton to the late, Willie James and Elvesta (Harvel) Easterling. He was also preceded in death by his 3 sisters, Linda, Pearline and Paulette Easterling; brother, Donald Eric Easterling.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita; 4 children, Vincent Pounds, Sasceya (Victor) Pounds-Byrd, Nancy Jenkins and Aaron Michael White; step-children, Leonard Wilcox and Chuntaye (Anthony) Fuller; 9 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Rena Easterling and April Easterling; adopted sister, Lola (John) Warren; adopted brother, William Sewell; special aunts, Emma Fritz and Charlotte Brice; god-sister, Tracy Johnson; niece, Charlene Easterling; nephew, James Easterling; 2 special cousins, Johnny (Gail) Bush and Eddie (Debbie) Bush; 3 great-nieces; 2 great-nephews and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
"Top" served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. He enjoyed playing chess and was an excellent mechanic who loved working on cars and he loved music.
