Willie was a very bright and busy youngster as well as an adult. He went to Withrow High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. Go Tigers!

Willie James to some, Junior to most, Father to a few, and much more to others. Willie was a complex man who came with many layers. After retiring Willie had many hobbies to keep him entertained. He enjoyed collecting stamps, gold, coins, antiques, DVD's, and CARS. Cars were his ultimate passion. He loved to smell cars, look at cars, collect cars, work on cars, and drive cars really fast. He also liked riding a nice loud Harley or smooth Honda motorcycle. When he was not collecting items, he was going to his favorite places. One of his favorite places that he frequented was Eden Park. He loved to go to Eden Park and meet up with his retired biker buddies and talk trash. He also liked to go to Dunkin Doughnuts, Graters, Gold Star Chili, Bob Evans, Costco, Flying J, coin shops, Buffalo (New York), and The Anchor Bar.
When Willie was not going places or collecting things, he was always watching his favorite football team New England Patriots and various action-packed movies. Willie was a huge lover of music and he loved listening to Prince, Bar-Kays, Queen, Phil Collins, War, and host of other musicians. He also enjoyed eating Dunkin Doughnuts and Lee's Chicken with his grandsons. Willie loved his grandsons and he loved to pop up over their house and give his grandsons money, food, and talk plenty of trash before falling asleep on the couch. Willie was a larger than life, loud, busy, funny, aggressive, stubborn, and loving man. He will be dearly missed by everyone. So, we salute you Dad and, in your words, "Peace Out Homie".

In one of my dad's favorite songs "Zoom" by The Commodores, the song says,
"I'd like to fly far away from here
Where my mind, oh Lord, is fresh and clear
And I'd find the love that I long to see
Where everybody can be what they wanna be."
(Song-Released,1977)
Dad it was so hard to capture your life in just a few words, but I hope I was able to give a glimpse of the man I loved and knew.
Love you Dad go fly away and be FREE!
Love Your,
(Middle-Child)
