William Tonar

September 7, 1973 — February 1, 2015

William Scott "Bil" Tonar

9/7/1973 – 2/1/2015

Bil, as he was known to his family and close friends, lost his battle with illness at his home in Centerville.

He is survived by his mother, Lee D. (Craig) Hunter; his father, Robert W. Tonar; aunts, uncles and cousins, and his beloved dog, Ava.

His friends remember him for his engaging personality, love of soccer, infamous Halloween parties, ability to create amazing personalized CDs, and being a part of the kickball team that won the title of "Guinness World Record for the Longest Kickball Game". Although he had lived in Centerville, Clintonville and Columbus, his heart and soul remained in Portland, Oregon, where his favorite place was Overton Park.

Visitation will be at Newcomer Funeral Home, South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio, at 10:00 am Monday, February 9, 2015, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Bil's memory.
