Thompson, William W. "Bill" age 70, of Xenia, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on June 9, 1950 to the late William Thomas and Shirley Louise Thompson (nee McCrossen).
Bill is survived by his wife, Robin Thompson (nee Denney); daughters, Tiffany Thompson and Mandy Knopp; sons, William "Bill" (Joanna) Thompson and Joseph "Joey" Denney; brothers, James "Jim" (Nancy) Thompson and Lawrence "Larry" (Angela) Thompson; sister, Kay (Lee) Bowen; grandchildren, Dustin, Taylor, Brianna, Dylan, Cameron, Brandon, Adalynn and Justin; great-grandson, Carter; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members and friends.
In 1969, Bill served as a sharpshooter/marksman in the Vietnam War for the United States Army. After returning stateside, he was stationed at Fort Hood, Texas and served as military police until 1971 . He was a member of AMVETS Post #99 and the NRA. Bill was passionate about a few things, playing pool, his Harley, whiskey & biscuits and his cigars.
