William Stewart

William Harrison "Bill" Stewart, age 81 of Huber Heights, passed away March 23, 2012. He was born May 26, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Harlan and Helen Stewart.
Bill is survived by his wife, Clyda Stewart; children: Tony Stewart, John Stewart and Donna Marie (Les) Smith; their mother, Audrey Stewart; and brother, Harlon Stewart.
Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in the Korean War. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal and the United Nations Service Medal. Bill was a member of the American Legion Post in Bartlesville, OK; was a member of AOPA, Airline Owners and Pilots Association. He retired from Beech Aircraft and then from KDI Corporation. He loved flying and enjoyed playing golf and pool. He also had a great passion for dogs.
A graveside service will be held at Dayton National Cemetery on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 3:00 pm.
