William Sorrell

William "JR" Sorrell Jr, age 53 of Dayton, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born February 7, 1967 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Bill and Peggy Sorrell.
He is preceded in death by his father, Bill Sorrell.
JR is survived by his wife of 18 years, Tracy A. Sorrell; five children, Eric D. Sorrell, Ashley N. Sorrell, Cody J. (Yasmen) Sorrell, Brian A. Phipps, and Dylan R. Sorrell; five grandchildren, Archer, Anniston, Bladen, Korbynn, and Adham. mother, Peggy Sorrell, sister, Tracie (Matthew ) Eismann; brother, Michael (Brooke) Sorrell. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, family and friends.
JR was selfless, kind, outgoing, and outspoken. He was simple and it didn't take much to please him. He will always be remembered for his quirky sense of humor and you couldn't help but to love and adore him.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Kettering Chapel. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am -12:00 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
