William Thomas Sizemore "Tom", age 67 of Kettering, passed away peacefully Monday, December 9, 2024. He was born November 6, 1957 in Clarkston, Michigan the son of the late Bill and Ruth Sizemore. Tom was also a dedicated and loyal son who cherished his parents.
Tom was a member of Harmony Creek Church. He had a long career as a brick mason and was a member of the Local 22, Bricklayers Union for 25 years. Tom was an avid sports fan who followed the University of Tennessee's Basketball and Football teams and the Detroit Lions. He liked to Golf. Tom enjoyed music, especially Classic Rock and Country. He was proud of his grilling skill and was quite the grill master.
Tom cherished time with his family. He loved spending time with his wife, Julia, his son Nick, and his grandchildren, William, Cheyanne, Autumn, Mason and Jaxon, and he also loved grandchildren Lola, Will, Ana and Weston. He had special regard for his Mother-In-Law Phyllis Widowski, cousins Linda Johnson and Stephen Phelan of Corning Arkansas. He will be deeply missed.
Tom is survived by his Wife of 25 years, Julia Sizemore; Son, Nicholas T. (Tina) Sizemore; Cousins, Linda Johnson and Stephen Phelan; Mother-In-Law Phyllis Widowski, Sister-In-Law, Lisa Widowski; Step-Daughters, Kristen Brown, Autumn Brown, and Celia Emmons; eleven Grandchildren; and by numerous other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and numerous other relatives from the Phelan family of Corning, Arkansas and the Sizemores of Harlan, KY.
Tom had a very long illness and he was compassionately cared for at The Laurels of West Carrollton. The staff will miss Tom.
