William Ernest "Bill" Scudder, age 87, of Dayton, was promoted to heaven on February 2, 2021. He was born in Peoria , Illinois, on September 22, 1933, the son of the late John and Helen Scudder.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Geraldine Scudder; daughters, Sharon (Randy) Morris, Anna (Alan Johnson) Bradley and Juli (Eric) Smith; grandchildren, Matthew (Brianna) Morris, Maria (Brian) Davis, Joshua (Alisha) McDarris, Amber (Jerod) Grogg, Rosalyn Colvin, Noah Colvin, Madison Smith, Isaiah Smith and Maggie Smith; 13 great grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends.
He served his country proudly by serving in the United States Air Force, where he was on the Bomber Air Crew as a Radio Operator. Bill was the previous President of the Full Gospel Businessmen of Peoria, IL. He was an Entrepreneur, owning and operating multiple businesses throughout his life. His most successful business was Classic Cabinets, which he ran for over 14 years, retiring at the age of 55. In his free time, he loved to travel (especially internationally), going white water rafting, cheering on his Cincinnati Reds, and being very active in the churches he attended. He was a Revivalist at heart. Bill was also a talented singer. He was the original bass of the Southernaires Southern Gospel Quartet. Bill also had his sailing credentials and enjoyed sailing in the Caribbean.

Services will be held privately for the family at Destiny Church. Others are welcome to watch the service via live stream on Bill's personal FaceBook page Monday, February 8 at 1 PM.
