William R. Saunders, 60, of Beavercreek, passed away March 1, 2017. William was born in Mountain Home, Idaho on January 6, 1957 to Rodney and Joan Saunders. William retired as a full bird Colonel the from USAF after 28 years of service. He was a professor at Norwich University for over 10 years. In his free time he enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Mimi S Saunders; daughters, Jennifer Saunders, Holly White; grandson, Brayden Wilmarth; parents, Rodney and Joan Saunders; brother, Robert Saunders; sister, Barbara (Lance) Trager; and several other relatives and special friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 9-11am at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, where funeral services will begin at 11am with Pastor Doug Roe officiating.
