William Ross
January 17, 1926 — March 8, 2014
William Edward Ross, age 88 previously of Secaucus, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 at The Summit at Park Hills in Fairborn, Ohio. He was born January 17, 1926 in Secaucus the son of William and Mabel Ross. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and served in both WWII and the Korean Conflict and retired from Bell Atlantic after 41 years of service. William was a member of ST. Matthews Evangelical Lutheran Church in Secaucus.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Virginia, and sister, Doris Casey.
William is survived by his 2 sons - David (Linda) Ross and Thomas (Elizabeth) Ross; 2 grandsons - Daniel Ross and Matthew Ross. He is also survived by numerous family and friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to The Summit at Park Hills, Hospice of Dayton, and his caregiver, Denise Morgan-Harmeling for all the care they provided for William.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
