TERRY, William R. "Joe", age 62, of Beavercreek, died Monday, May 14, 2007. He was born November 3, 1944 in Dayton, OH. He served in Vietnam with the United States Air Force and was a retired surveyor. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Waynesville and the Messenger's Quartet of the First Baptist Church of Kettering. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Naomi Terry; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and SFC Christopher Sweeney of Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri; three grandchildren, Evan, Kaeleb, and Brodie Sweeney; nephews, Rodney, Ronald, and Mathew Gregory and their children, Samantha, Jonathan, Alexander, Rachel, Hayley, and Mathew II., all of Xenia; 3 sisters, Linda Densley of Virginia, Judy Johnson of Xenia, and Mary (Dennis) Yates of Xenia; numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph W. Terry; his mother, Dorothy Morgan. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 17, 2007 from 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel where funeral services will be held Friday, May 18, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Bill Perry officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Waynesville.
