William Poole

POOLE, William R. "Bob", 81, of Centerville passed away on Thursday March 10, 2005. Bob was born in White, GA on September 12, 1923 to Carter R. and Zonie (Sullins) Poole. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Beverly Poole; 3 children, Gary of Greenville, SC, Brenda of Centerville, and Jim of Chicago; 2 grandchildren Chris and Kathy Poole who he loved dearly. Bob was a Navy Pilot during World War II, he joined the NCR Company prior to his enlistment in the Navy and then returned in 1946. He retired in 1986 after 46 years of service. Graveside Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, March 14, 2005 at Centerville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or the charity of your choice.
