William C. Perkins

William C. Perkins "Bill", age 94 of Riverside, reunited with his wife, Nancy K. Perkins and son, Michael Perkins on October 29, 2018. He was born in a log cabin on February 13, 1924 in Crix, KY to the late Eddie and Sarah (Gregory) Perkins. In addition to his wife, son and parents, Bill was preceded in death by his siblings, Virgie Jones, Lenora Murphy, Dessie Swin, Dorothy Perkins, Clayton Perkins and James Roscoe Perkins.

He is survived by his daughter, Carolyn (Virgle) Hale; grandchildren, Nathan (Leah) Hale, Nevin Hale and Andrew (Stacey) Hale; great-grandchildren, Christopher Hale, Teah Hale and Michael Hale; siblings, Jesse Perkins, Robert Perkins and Mary Myrtle Terrell; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Bill along with all of his brothers proudly served their country during WWII in the U.S. Army. He belongs to the Masonic Lodge-Highland Lodge #38 in Hillsboro, OH. Bill won many awards for trapshooting.

Family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Monday, November 5, 2018 with a Masonic Service beginning at 7:30 PM at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. A funeral service will begin at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, November 6 at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will immediately follow the service at Dayton National Cemetery at 11 AM.
