William A. Olsen

William A. Olsen, age 83 of Huber Heights, passed away March 12, 2020. He was born September 18, 1936 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to the late Harry and Jean Olsen. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Olsen.

Bill is survived by his sons: Bill Jr, Bart, Brad and Rob; grandchildren: Logan, Christin, Katie, Aaron, Tyler, Eric, Brittni and Cody; many great-grandchildren; brother, Harry Jr; sisters: Jean and Joan; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Col. Bill was a decorated combat veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Vietnam War. He was awarded 2 Distinguished Flying Crosses, 3 Meritorious Service Medals and many others.

At his request, private services will be held for his family. Burial and military honors will be held at Dayton National Cemetery. Arrangements by Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road.
