William (Will) James McDonald, went to be with the Lord on March 27, 2023. He was born July 7, 1998, in Honolulu, HI, to Maurice and Sylvia James McDonald.
Will accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at New Zion U.M. Church in Starkville, MS. He attended Holy Family Academy in Honolulu, HI, and Mt. Spurr Elementary in Anchorage, AK. After the family relocated to Wright Patterson AFB in 2006, Will went to school in the Beavercreek School system and graduated from Beavercreek High School. As a youth, Will enjoyed playing baseball, football and basketball. Will also played on the 2015-16 Beavercreek High School Lacrosse Team. Upon graduating, he attended Clark State College, Shawnee State University and Bowling Green University pursuing a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Sports Management.
Will worked at Morris Furniture Store. He celebrated life gaming, socializing with friends, traveling, fishing, and attending sporting events. Will was an avid Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Cavaliers fan. Will participated in the Prairies Chapel Boys 2 Men program and Beavercreek High Peer Helper Team. He volunteered with the Miami Valley Down Syndrome Association and especially enjoyed the Buddy Walk functions.
Will leaves to cherish his memories his parents, Maurice and Sylvia, brother, Michael, paternal grandfather, Billy McDonald, uncles, Elvis (Pamala) James of Houston, TX, Alan (Laura) McDonald of Cleveland, OH, aunts, Charlotte (Roderick) Downs of Cleveland, OH and Rena James of Starkville, MS and a host of cousins, extended family and friends. Will is preceded to eternal rest by his paternal grandmother, Una McDonald and maternal grandparents, Eddie and Inella James.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am-11:00am, on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Prairies Chapel, 6568 Chapel Lane, Dayton, where Funeral Services will begin at 11:00am.
