William M. Tate

William M. "Bill" Tate
Age 79, formerly of Huber Heights, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at The Hospice of Butler and Warren County. Bill was a resident of Liberty Retirement Community in Centerville.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Natalie Anne Tate; and by his parents, Elmer C. and Mary L. (Martin) Tate.

Bill is survived by his son & daughter-in-law, Christopher & Kimberly Tate; his daughter, Julie McQuality; grandchildren, Emily Tolpin, Erin Hamilton, Jaime Tate & Morgan Tate; great grandchildren, Austin and Jeremy Hamilton; and by many other special family members and friends.

Bill and Anne were members of Sulphur Grove United Methodist Church in Huber Heights. Bill was also a volunteer for the Huber Heights Fire Department Community Outreach Program. Bill was a United States Air Force veteran. Bill retired from 2-J Supply Company.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. The family will be receiving friends from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Pastor Tom Hanover will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Bill to the Alzheimer's Association or to The Hospice of Dayton.
