William C. "Wild Bill" Lovell , 52, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, January 26, 2017. William was born June 6, 1964 in Dayton to Charles Lee Sr. and Aletha (Huff) Lovell.
William enjoyed having a beer with family and friends, listening to classic rock and country music, singing karaoke, cracking jokes and had a passion for cars. He enjoyed encouraging and motivating his family, and dedicated his life to his family and friends and saw the world as everyone being equal and had a heart of gold. Some of his favorite sayings were "Mike Jones"; "You got the right string but the wrong Yo-Yo"; and "I love you like a highway that never ends, and they never end".
William is survived by his daughters, Amber, April and Amanda Lovell; step sons Michael Lacy and Matthew and Timothy Wallace; the mothers of his children Amy Lovell and Frances Ledford; his mother-in-law Geneva Disney; sisters Charlene and Cleda Lovell, and Linda; a brother Charles Lee Lovell, Jr.; nephews Randy, Brandon, Jermaine, Kevin, grandchildren as well as many other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister Margaret Wilson; a son in law Tommy Dunkin; grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held Friday, February 3, 2017 at 7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, OH. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. From a collection of William's sayings, this one holds true to all that knew him; "When I die, bury me deep, put a beer in my hand and send me to Glory Land!"
