William Lingo, Sr.
William J. Lingo, Sr., age 69 of Dayton, passed away October 23, 2011. He was born February 14, 1942 in Columbus to the late Charles W. and Frieda B. Lingo.
Bill is survived by his children: Mary Caren (Christopher) Heffner, William J. Lingo, Jr., Angela (Marc) Zirille, Sarah (Scott) Thayer, Caroline (Stephen) Shiner and Charles W. (Jamie) Lingo, II; 12 grandchildren; siblings: Charles Lingo, Edward (Nancy) Lingo and Anne Uruburu.
Bill was a graduate of Hartley High School in Columbus. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus of Huber Heights, St. Helen's and St. Stephen's Choir and the North Dayton Priority Board.
A memorial mass is scheduled for Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 10:00 am at St. Stephen's Catholic Church.
