William Liebhard
November 13, 1923 — January 30, 2015
William "Bill" Liebhard, age 91, loving husband and father, passed away Friday, January 30, 2015 at Kettering Hospital after a brief illness.
Born, November 13, 1923 in Dayton, to Myrtle & Bill Liebhard, he was a 1941 Chaminade graduate and served in the Pacific on Guadalcanal in WWII. After the war he worked at NCR for 40 years.
Bill was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife of 64 years, Betty; his parents; sister, Mary Katherine Sacksteder; niece, Karen Hoff; and nephew, Barry Sacksteder.
He is survived by his daughter, Pam, nephew, Tom Sacksteder; and cousins Nancy & Chuck Harman.
A memorial service will be held at 10am at David's Cemetery in the Mausoleum Chapel (4600 Mad River Road, Dayton, OH 45429).
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Salvation Army.
