Lane, William, age 96, went to be with the angels on March 10, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard & Leona Lane; first wife, Betty; second wife, Mildred; daughter & son-in-law, Linda & Kirk Evans; brothers, Richard & Howard Lane; step-grandson, Jake Bean.

He is survived by his sister, Mary Purpora; son & daughter-in-law, Michael & Beth Lane of Huber Heights; daughter & son-in-law, Lisa & Bob Rice of Reston, VA; step-daughters, Nancy & Kurt Aucoin, Carol Lumpkin & Patty Anderson; step-son, Steven & Gayle Shanks; grandchildren, Brian & Julie Evans, Kirsten Evans, Eric Lane, Angela & Adrian Gray and Ryan Lane; step-grandchildren, Ashley & John, Brian, Krista, Kaitlin, Adrianne, Eric, Matthew & Sarah, Jackie & Brian, Andrew & Nikki, Brandon, Christopher & Jonathon; great-grandchildren, Katie & Laura Evans, Diem & Raven Gray; step great-grandchildren, Jade, Javene, Jetta, Tyler, Zachary, Evelyn, Oliver, Oxlie, Kinsley & Anniston.
