William Arthur Lambert, 67, passed away on October 26th, 2022. Loving husband of Christine Lambert for 29 years, dear father of Adrian Lambert, cherished grandfather of Alexus Lambert and Brian Shomali Jr., cherished brother in law of Carolyn Lambert, adored uncle of Frederick (Diamond) Lambert and Michael (Ebony) Lambert.
He was preceded in death by his parents William Henry and Linnie Lambert, siblings Alfred Lambert, Andre Lambert, Elizabeth Lambert, Tynese Lambert and Kenny Lambert.
Bill retired from the United States Army after 20 years of being a combat medic and a drill sergeant. During his service he did tours in both Germany and Korea. He was the recipient of the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the Army Good Conduct Medal, the Expert Field Medical Badge as well as many others.
In his spare time Bill enjoyed fishing and writing. He was a published writer. He also enjoyed cruising, traveling to natural parks, bird watching and watching movies. His most favorite time was spending time with family.
Public visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton - Xenia Rd) on Saturday November 19, 2022 at 10:00 am with memorial service to follow at 11:00 am.
