SUTTON, William L. age 86 passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011.
He was preceded in death by parents; grandson, Brett Sutton; brothers, Vernon, Lyndall, and Gary; sisters, Isabel and Ruth; and daughter-in-law, Dorothy Sutton.
He is survived by children, Don (Jackie) Sutton, Bonnie (Fred) Wall, Tom Sutton, and Willie (Bonnie) Sutton; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lois (Gary) Deer and Regina (Wayne) Marshall; dear friend and companion, Margaret Puckett; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
William was a proud WWII and Korean War veteran. He was an accomplished musician, pilot, and cartoonist.
The family will receive friends Saturday, March 26, 2011 from 11:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm at Beaver United Church of Christ, 1960 Dayton-Xenia Road. Interment at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Hospice of Dayton.
