Bill Grooms
Age 83, of Riverside, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2007, at Hospice of Dayton.
Bill is survived by his wife of the past 60 years, Margaret J. "Janie" (Tolle) Grooms; one daughter, Deborah Grooms; two sons and daughters-in-law, Russell & Rosemary Grooms and Dennis & Karen Grooms; one grandson, four granddaughters; five great granddaughters; one great grandson; two sisters, Edith Young and Martha & Bob Grooms; and one brother, Forrest Grooms.
Bill retired in 1987 as a Master Carpenter. During WW II he served his country in the U. S. Army.
The family will be receiving friends from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. Friday, January 12, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. with Jeff Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
