William L. Depp

Depp, William L. "Chief", age 85, of Huber Heights, OH, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born October 20, 1923 in Hamilton, PA, the son of Duff L. & Della B. (Holben) Depp. William served in the US Navy for 21 years and was also formerly employed by the postal service. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, David & Larry Richard Depp. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Janice Depp; daughters, Sandy Ditmer, Cathy Ritter, & Pam (Tim) Hawk; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Myrna Jack & Ruth Ann Thomas; and his brothers, Fred & Frank Depp. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Monday, December 29, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
